Villa Bougainvillea in Pererenan, Bali, is a GKA-designed Balinese masterpiece, nestled among lush rice paddies, offering a serene retreat with elegant architecture and tropical charm.
The restaurant and night life districts of Legian and Seminyak are only 15 minutes to the south and the trip from the Ngurah Rai International Airport to the villa is approximately 30 minutes.
The local beach, Pantai Pererenan, is only a 5-minute drive from the villa and is especially popular with international surfers. Le Meridien Hotel and the famous Tanah Lot Temple are just a scenic 15-minute drive north, along with the world-renowned Nirwana Bali Golf Course, designed by Greg Norman.
Upon entering through the Balinese entrance gate, you descend white Palimanan steps into a lush tropical paradise designed by Made Wijaya. At the heart of this tranquil oasis is an extraordinary 10-meter-high open-plan living and dining area.
From the main living space, the view extends over the swimming pool, a vibrant flowering garden, majestic trees along the Pangi River, and the lush rice fields of Canggu.
Villa Bougainvillea features a blend of Dutch colonial and Balinese decor. The furniture is crafted from solid teak, with many pieces being intricately carved Indonesian antiques. Handmade cushions and pillows in striking hues add to its charm.
Bedroom
Each of the three stand-alone, air-conditioned pavilion bedrooms is uniquely decorated with its own color scheme, featuring beautiful Indonesian batik hangings, masks, and indigenous artworks.
Each bedroom includes a king-size bed, a balcony overlooking the gardens, a spacious ensuite bathroom, and a private courtyard with an outdoor shower.
The fourth bedroom is located in the mezzanine area above the TV room/library and has a separate private bathroom.
A lockable connecting door links Villa Bougainvillea to the neighboring villa, allowing large groups to share both properties. The villa is also part of the secure, walled Pangi River Village complex, which includes a spacious communal parking area.
A dedicated team of highly trained and experienced staff ensures a comfortable and memorable stay. The team includes an in-house chef, housekeeper, gardener, pool maintenance staff, and four security guards. The chef is skilled in preparing both local and international cuisine and handles market shopping.

Entertainment options include cable TV and CD players in each bedroom and the study, along with high-speed internet access. Guests can unwind on four sunbeds by the pool, while the dining area comfortably seats 8-10 people.
