From check-in at the stunning hotel lobby, the resort buggy will deliver you safely to the door of your own private retreat, hidden among well established, tropical gardens full of beautifully fragrant frangipani trees.
The entrance to the Villa Baan Hansa opens into an airy, open plan living, dining and kitchen area. The white walls and pitched ceiling skylight provide a great sense of space. The hard wooden floors beautifully contrast with the inviting lounge furniture and the chic white, fully-equipped, western style kitchen.
The lounge offers two separate, sofa seating areas, with hessian rugs and central coffee tables, the larger of which boasts flat panel TV with DVD player and satellite TV.
The dining area is located between the seating area and the kitchen and comprises of an elegant black lacquered table and six stylish white chairs. The breakfast bar houses a cooking hob with four halogen and a modern, fresh coffee and cappuccino maker (fresh coffee provided). The built in microwave and electric oven can be found amid a large wall of units that offer ample storage space for groceries, crockery and cooking utensils.
Large wooden folding accordion-style patio doors open up off the lounges onto a spacious wooden veranda that offers spectacular views of the Five Islands. The terrace has a large and comfortable sofa seating area, a teak dining table that can accommodate up to six diners and two teak reclining sun loungers as well as tropical plants in stylish local urns. A further narrow veranda to the right leads back up to the kitchen at the rear and a outdoor gas barbecue grill.
Hard wooden stairs at the back of the lounge area lead down to lower floor where a further, comfortable seating area can be found along with a wall library books. From here two double bedrooms can be accessed. The room to the right is an airy double bedroom with a comfortable kind sized bed, a flat screen TV with DVD and satellite linkup, ample storage space and en-suite bathroom with his and hers sinks, black granite finish, a rain shower and WC. The second bedroom on this level has comfortable twin beds, ample storage space and a black granite en-suite bathroom with a single sink and a bath tub. Both bedrooms have large windows and more of those stunning views.
Double doors off the seating area on this level lead onto a set of sand washed steps on the outside of the building that lead back up to the top level or down a further level. The lower level has a large sand washed veranda, ideal for taking in the view, from here two sets of double doors lead to two further fully furnished stylish double bedrooms. Both of this double rooms have ocean views, ample storage space, and en-suite bathrooms, one equipped with a bath tub and one with shower. The rooms also have an interconnecting door that makes them ideal for a family, and they offer plenty of privacy from the sleeping and living quarters above.
Back up on the top level a small corridor from the front porch, lead past another storage room and the fifth bedroom that has a cozy ambiance, twin beds, hillside views and flat screen TV with DVD and satellite linkup as well as ample storage space making for a stairs-free bedroom option.
