Ban Sairee Villa in Koh Samui welcomes its guests to the true Thai way of living. This beautiful, authentic Ayutthaya-styled holiday villa is ideal for families or friends to enjoy a luxury secluded holiday. The two pavilions of Villa Ban Sairee are located on an untouched beach in the south of Samui, overlooking the islands of Koh Matsum and Koh Taen. This house will give you the right spirits, since it is next to and under the guardian eye of Wat Laem Sor (the Golden Pagoda).

Entering this beautiful teak wooden house you first step on the expansive deck surrounding the two pavilions.

The open-plan living space is fully decorated in an original Thai style featuring a high wooden ceiling and is dressed with beautiful water-hyacinth sofas and a long classic solid teak dining table. There?s also a fully-equipped kitchen and an adjoining TV room.

On the large wooden terrace you will find a unique antique dining table as well as relaxing sun loungers. Guests can enjoy a candle-lit dinner in the living room or a BBQ on the sea view terrace.

Each sleeping pavilion incorporates three bedrooms. The first has twin beds, a walk in closet, and an en-suite bathroom. From the relaxing bathtub you can enjoy looking at the surrounding palm trees, the moon and stars, through the skylight ceiling and there?s also a refreshing open air shower. The second bedroom is a children's room with a single bed and a bathroom with shower. Adjoining is the third bedroom with a double bed, walk in closet and complete bathroom with covered bathtub and open air shower.

All rooms are decorated with antique furniture and have sliding doors to maximise the sea view and cooling breeze.

Both pavilions have direct access to a stunning secluded beach on a half moon bay via an expansive lawn of palm trees and where you will also find the swimming pool. Located behind the main house is the private tennis court.

Villa Ban Sairee also has the option to rent addtional accomodation in the form of a refurbished rice barn (at an additional cost) giving up to 8 bedrooms.

This additional accomodation includes a recently restored, 180 year old, traditional Northern Thai teak rice barn. In addition to spectacular ocean and beach views, the rice barn provides a dedicated separate family room located in a lush, tropical garden.

The rice barn has a luxurious honey moon suite as well as a kids room with 2 sets of bunks sleeping 4 kids. The rice barn is a fun and safe new destination for young guests staying at villa Ban Sairee. It is also ideal for nanny and helper accomodation.

Things To Do

  • Taling Ngam Beach, in particular, is a favourite besides Lipa Noi Beach for enjoying sunsets.
  • Charter a boat to visit Koh Tean or Koh Mat Sum, two lovely islands south of Samui. You could gosnorkeling in the reef around the islands, or just enjoy the near-deserted white-sand beaches andexplore the lush greenery..
  • Beachside resorts like InterContinental Samui or Conrad Hotel are great spots from which toenjoy the sunset over dinner at one of the world-class restaurants or drinks at the bar.
  • Venture further inland to visit the Na Mueang Waterfalls, some of the most scenic waterfalls inSamui.
  • The Secret Buddha Garden, located not far from Na Mueang Waterfalls, is a picturesquecollection of Buddha statues. A fruit farmer whose family owned the land started the collection in1976, placing statues all over the garden
  • See the famous mummified monk in Wat Khunaram. In 1973, a monk named Luong Pordaengpassed away peacefully, sitting in a meditative pose
  • Visit Fisherman?s Village, Bophut Beach, the dining hub of Koh Samui with over 40 restaurants, many of them beachfront or on the sand itself. Most shops and restaurants are open from latemorning or early afternoon. The Village becomes a vibrant ?Walking Street? and is closed to traffic from 5pm on Fridays.
  • The 12-metre tall seated Buddha statue represents Buddha?s journey to enlightenment and is a symbol of meditation and purity.
  • Enjoy golfing at Santiburi Golf course that is set amidst a reserved coconut palm plantation with panoramic views of the Gulf of Siam.
  • The Hin Ta and Hin Yai Rocks (Grandfather and Grandmother) at the southern end of Lamai Beach draw visitors who marvel at the fascinating (if not also suggestive) rock formations. The waters around the rocks are typically crystal clear, though too shallow for swimming.
  • Packed with bars and clubs, the busy town of Chaweng comes alive at night till the early morning.
  • Silver Beach, otherwise called Crystal Beach, sits along the cliffs that separate Lamai from the Chaweng area.
  • In the morning, take a scenic walk uphill to the nearby temple Wat Kao Chedi
  • Hop on a fisherman?s boat to the islands directly opposite Ban Sairee
