At the villa, it's easy to settle in. Soothed by the views, pampered by the staff, as relaxed as you are in your own home, but with that extra something to make your stay unforgettable.
The villa dates back to 1741, when wealthy merchants constructed the luxurious residence on the hill overlooking the harbor of Positano, from where they would be able to see their ships sailing in from sea.
They enlisted the services of the most famous artists of the time to fresco the ceilings and fill each room with precious furniture and artworks.
Like the villa's first owners, today's guests sleep in sumptuous suites decorated with exquisite antiques and period paintings; the only difference between then and now being the addition of the latest in contemporary technology and comfort. The villa was completely restored in 2013.
In high season, the vila can only be booked in its entirety, on a weekly basis and for weddings and events. Individual rooms are available for booking only in low season, which runs from October to April.
In the attic there are two brand new suites, furnished in a modern style, each with guest capacity of 4 people. These suites can be booked on request and have an additional cost.

Spiaggia Grande
In the center of Positano, this is, as the name suggests, the biggest beach in town. It's the most glamorous too: home to numerous bars, restaurants and beach clubs.
Fornillo
You can walk to Fornillo from Positano's Spiaggia Grande, via the "Lovers' Walk". Nestled in a bay, this little beach is surprisingly quiet and peaceful.
Secret beaches
Positano's rocky coastline is home to dozens of hidden beaches, which can only be reached from the sea. If you want to explore them, we'll arrange a boat for you.
The best way to explore Italy's spectacular Amalfi Coast is, without shadow of doubt, by boat; better still by "gozzo", the traditional boat used by the area's fishermen.
Our concierge will be happy to organize excursions inclusive of visits to the best beach clubs and restaurants in the area, and, for those keen to sail a little farther afield, the nearby island of Capri.
