This old farmhouse has been recently renovated and, while maintaining its rustic style, has been finely furnished and equipped with all conveniences: WIFI internet connection, satellite TV, washing-machine, dishwasher, telephone and CD player, wood-fired oven. It is situated in the area of Massa Lubrense, about 10 km from Sorrento on the stretch of the Sorrento peninsula overlooking Capri.
Villa 9152, while skilfully renovated, has maintained the flavour of local tradition not only in the furnishing, but also in the external context. The property is surrounded by a delightful kitchen garden, so well-tended that it is almost part of the garden proper, crossed by vine pergolas that open onto unexpected glimpses of landscape overlooking the sea, where the island of Capri appears in the background almost like a vision. Each part of the garden, which has a private 4x5m swimming-pool with hydromassage, and the numerous terraces which surround the house, has been designed with the landscape in mind so as to capture the most enchanting views of this superb stretch of coastline. Various paths, negotiable only on foot, lead off from here towards Punta Campanella, the outermost point of the Sorrento peninsula, where tradition holds that Ulysses passed by on his ship. The closest beach is Marina del Cantone, situated about 5 km from the property, while Sant'Agata sui Due Golfi about 3 km away is the nearest residential centre, offering all essential services.
