The simple, tasteful decor allows for a casual, barefoot lifestyle, and the pretty port of Alyki with its restaurants and shops is just a few minutes away.
The house has no air-conditioning, but has plenty of windows, french doors, insect screens and ceiling fans, ensuring breezy coolness throughout the summer. Flagstones floors and rough plastered walls combine with traditional island touches to make this a very atmospheric and distinctive house.
The property consists of a main house with 5 bedrooms, all on one level, and a separate guest house with a suite of 3 bedrooms on the terrace below. The entrance drive links both houses.
At the bottom of the garden, a little gate gives onto the coastal path that runs along the fronts of all the beach houses on this prestigious stretch of coast, from which all the beaches - big and little - can be easily reached.
