Take a break from family and friends to sit with a book on the terrace beside the house next to the colourful oleander or enjoy a seat beneath one of the old plane trees.
When the cool of the house draws you inside you will love its beautiful design of wood and stone and enjoy indulging yourself in all the modern comforts it has to offer. White walls create a sense of space and light and each room makes the most of the glorious gardens with the dining area and one bedroom leading straight out onto the pool terrace. In each room there is something pleasing to catch the eye such as the candelabra, colourful painting, four poster bed and special pieces of furniture.
When you are ready to leave your pastoral idyll, head towards your nearby pretty village for a peaceful restaurant lunch or stock up on fruit and cheese at its weekly market. Take a short drive to vibrant St-Remy where artists display and sell their work each Sunday on the characterful Route des Artistes.
In Les Alpilles Natural Park there is plenty of opportunity for outdoor pursuits such as hiking, rock climbing, horse riding and mountain biking and some exquisite hillside villages such as Les Baux-de-Provence and Eygalieres, each around a 20-minute drive away.
