Villa 1236 is an 8-bedroom villa in Montego Bay, located only a 5-minute drive from the beach, and a 25-minute drive from shops and the nearest town. The villa enjoys panoramic ocean views, and features a colorful entrance and eponymous architecture.
Spiral stairways and balconies connect the multiple living, dining, and sleeping areas. This 11,000-sq.-ft. deluxe villa was beautifully renovated in the winter of 2015. A sweeping spiral staircase leads up to the round dining gazebo and an adjacent long curved balcony, which overlooks the pool and breathtaking ocean view. This shaded overlook is furnished with white wicker sofas and rocking chairs.
Wide French doors open into the tall, semicircular living room, which has a TV and 3 deep-cushioned sofas. This room also features a glass and black granite bar with a fridge and icemaker, and a Caribbean chandelier, which is custom designed with pebbles and shells. The living room opens wide on 2 sides through quadruple sets of French doors. The south side of the living room leads to a courtyard, a curving walkway, and 5 bedrooms.
The villa sleeps up to 16 guests. Additional guests may be added upon request. Each air-conditioned bedroom has a ceiling fan, an iPod docking station, cable TV, and an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower. The master bathroom offers 2 walk-in showers and a whirlpool bathtub. Six bedrooms have king-size beds, while 2 bedrooms are each furnished with either a king-size bed or twin beds.
A concealed mahogany staircase and 2 other staircases lead to the downstairs TV room with an optional sofa bed, 3 more bedrooms, and French doors, which open to the pool terrace. A deck with loungers surrounds the heated kidney-shaped swimming pool, which features a diving board and gated stairway. This villa also comes with an outdoor dining area and WiFi.
The villa comes with house cleaning services. During the Thanksgiving and December holidays, the villa rents at full occupancy rates regardless of how many bedrooms are used.
